AMANKORA

The Amankora Bhutan is one of the world’s most isolated luxury accommodation and the first resort in Bhutan. The five lodges are located across its central and western valleys of Bhutan – Paro, Thimphu, Gangtey, Punakha and Bumthang. Amankora’s suites have more or less identical contemporary design with rustic materials – the pinewood patterns. Open-plan bedrooms and living rooms have king size beds, window seats overlooking majestic forests and traditional bukhari wood-burning stove. Ensuite bathrooms, clad in terrazzo, center on a large freestanding bathtub.

Six Senses Bhutan Lodges are located across the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. Guests may visit one of the lodges in Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey, Bumthang or Paro. The lodges range in size and facilities, with just 82 thoughtfully designed rooms.

Guests are invited to have a free consultation with one of the Traditional Bhutanese Medicine Doctors, who will create a personal wellness program. It includes dietary advice, focused on balancing the body, mind and spirit. Guests can also enjoy the benefits traditional massages, herbal treatments, yoga, meditation and hot stone baths.

COMO Uma combines the Bhutanese tradition with contemporary style in its private villas and luxury rooms. The private COMO Uma Punakha faces the arched crook of the Mo Chu River. While in COMO Uma Paro, the quiet rooms boast exceptional views of the forest, mountain, and valley floor.
